1.        Admit that you have sinned.

            Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”

2.        Recognize the consequences of sin and the gift of God.

            Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our

             Lord.”

3.         Repent and turn from your sin

             I John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us                   from all unrighteousness.

4.         Believe Jesus died for you and ask Him to save you

             Romans 5:1 “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God                            through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

5.         Grow in your new faith

              1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another,                    and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
